With this years’ boating season fast approaching, take the opportunity to assess you needs when you give your boat that early “spring cleaning”.  Take stock of the condition of your communication equipments’ wiring as well as the equipment itself.  That would be a good time to create a safety list – or simply just a list of needs and wants!  Then pare that down to a “short list” by crossing off those items on your master list that you can do without for another year and you will end up with your personalized “short list”.  A VHF Marine Radio should definitely be on this list if you don’t already have one.  Start this boating season off on the right foot by putting your “on board” guests first and keep a smile on your face!  Happy boater.
