CB’s are nice when fishing…

Sure is nice to be able to communicate with the others in your fishing party when on the water!  It’s always good to be able to plan a shore lunch somewhere and coordinate a r0ndevoux point so your crew could all get together.  I know from experience that you can’t always believe everything you hear on your communications from others.  (you know how fishermen are!)  They’ll maybe say they just landed a big fish, but they will never (or rarely) disclose the exact location of where they are fishing.  I know that because I heard one of these broadcasts one time and the spot they described what the spot I was sitting at and there were no other boats within site.  (it was probably 3 miles from the actual spot)  Oh well – fishermen will be fishermen!!  I would recommend a hand held CB Radio for this purpose.  They have great communication ability and are really very, very portable.   Small enough to just slip into your pocket – handy for every situation.  Remember – fishing is ALWAYS fun….catching is just a bonus!!  Happy Boater.
