It’s fun to hear when the sound is good!

I don’t know about you, but in my opinion there is nothing more irritating than listening to a great song played through a poor quality speaker!  What’s so irritating about it is that there are so many quality speakers available in today’s marketplace that there is really no excuse for that to happen.  High quality marine speakers are available which have the capability of reproducing sound in it’s purest form for your listening pleasure.  Marine speakers are not limited to marine use, but have the flexibility of being useful even on your deck or back yard!!  This is mainly because they are waterproof and weather will not adversely affect them.  Enjoy your music the way it was supposed to be listened to and enjoyed with the use of an upgraded marine audio system.  Happy Boater.

Summer Fun!

I don’t know about you, but I really enjoy the summer!  Now – let me be quick to say that I don’t necessarily like HOT weather, but in general, I really enjoy the summer!  I live in a part of the United States that is very beautiful and I never get tired of looking at the beauty surrounding me.  The picture of the lighthouse on my website (www.marineradiosonline.com) is about 15 minutes from my home right on the shores of Lake Superior.  What fun, though to have a few friends over and have a BBQ on the pontoon.  I simply bring a grill out on the water, cook up a few “specialties” ranging from brats to polish sausage to chicken to pork chops!  It’s hard to find something that is more relaxing than being out on the water, cooking up your favorite meal on the grill, and enjoying your favorite music played through your marine radio receiver.  A quality marine audio system is more affordable than it ever has been.  Make the most of your summer with your friends and a great sounding sound system!  Happy Boater.

Tune the tunes in…

Sound too good to be true that you can have your own recorded music play through an MP3 format while on board your favorite boat on a very nice day on the water?  It’s really not far fetched at all!  Modern technology makes it real easy to accomplish just that.  Why not share the music with the others on board instead of being privately “plugged in” to your music machine!  Quality of sound?  Not a problem.  With your music playing through a quality marine radio receiver and assuming that your boat is equipped with a nice pair of marine speakers and marine subwoofer speakers, you can produce a very high quality of sound.  Check out what’s available in marine audio systems today!

Speakers with that belly jiggle…

What fun to plug in your latest and greatest mp3 recordings into your marine radio receiver on board as part of the well designed marine audio system you put together!  Your friends will love it!!  Now, my taste in music has changed over the years, but I still really enjoy some good old rock ‘n roll music out of the late 50s or early 60’s as I sit back for an enjoyable afternoon …or maybe some country from around that era.  Maybe some of you like heavy metal (I’ll just be on the other boat – haha).  Whatever your taste in music, there’s nothing like hearing it like it’s supposed to be heard.  Consider installing some Marine Sub-Woofers on board to you can feel the music.  I really don’t know how much it will kill the fishing to turn up the music, but be considerate – make sure you’re not making the neighboring boaters angry with the volume of your music.  Remember – sound travels a long way over the water.  I guess if you did scare away all the fish, you wouldn’t have to clean any fish!  Be safe…
