If you can’t understand your speakers, it’s not good!
If you find yourself in a nasty situation when you urgently need to communicate with someone – whether it is the USCG or just someone on shore to relay urgent information – I’d say it is critical that you are able to understand what is being said through your speakers. You may have the best radio in the world, but if they are not doing the job for you, you might as well not even have ANY speakers! Marine speakers have improved so much in recent years (and they aren’t even expensive) that it is foolish not to upgrade your speakers so they will not be the “weak link” in an emergency situation with a bunch of crackling, distortion, or simply breaking up. I have an acquaintance with a very expensive boat. In just the past couple of months he took out the factory installed speakers and upgraded his system with marine speakers just so he could listen more clearly to what was being sent to the speakers – both his favorite music as well as communications. Take advantage of today’s techology. Happy Boater.
Many fall days left to enjoy those tunes!
Although it may be sad to see the yard equipment and lawn furniture being put away and maybe you are rushing around to accomplish those fall jobs you’ve been putting off until a cooler day, there is still a long time to enjoy the fall weather…and certainly time to put together a great back yard party or a party on the boat! VHF Marine Radios are available to be used without the danger of being ruined by weather. They also have the ability to play the digitally recorded music through the MP3 plug-in available on most units nowadays. Waterproof marine speakers are available also. It is very easy to make a speaker box to be able to install your speakers into and you have yourself a first class outside entertainment center!! Enjoy your favorite tunes as you entertain your friends. Almost everyone enjoys music!! Happy Boater.
Speakers make the difference…
You may have a great radio with an MP3 plug in and you may have some great pre-recorded tunes, but if you don’t have great speakers to play you music through, it just won’t stack up as a great listening experience. In today’s world of high tech and new designs of just about everything you can imagine, there really is no excuse for not having sound equipment capable of handling the output your radio is sending to your existing speakers. Why not try upgrading to marine speakers!! They are high quality, produce a great sound, and are waterproof so you no longer have to limit your imagination as to where you will use them! They can go in the back yard, on your boat, or inside if you choose! Speakers do make a difference in you listening pleasure. Happy Boater.
It’s fun to hear when the sound is good!
I don’t know about you, but in my opinion there is nothing more irritating than listening to a great song played through a poor quality speaker! What’s so irritating about it is that there are so many quality speakers available in today’s marketplace that there is really no excuse for that to happen. High quality marine speakers are available which have the capability of reproducing sound in it’s purest form for your listening pleasure. Marine speakers are not limited to marine use, but have the flexibility of being useful even on your deck or back yard!! This is mainly because they are waterproof and weather will not adversely affect them. Enjoy your music the way it was supposed to be listened to and enjoyed with the use of an upgraded marine audio system. Happy Boater.
Be a “Happy Listener”!
There just isn’t anything like great music played through great speakers to provide total enjoyment whatever that other circumstances may be. Hearing that quality sound now available with today’s technology coming from your marine speakers just sets the scene for the new day. It’s hard not to be happy when listening to your favorite tunes as you cut through the waves in route to your favorite little bay or fishing spot. If your still listening to the squawking and tinny sound of speakers that have long ago been surpassed in technology, then you owe it to your self to upgrade your speakers with speakers that will do your music justice. That way you can also join the growing group of “happy listeners” around the country. Happy Boater.
Music adds new dimension…
What’s a party without music? I guess I have always grown up around music – having played in my high school band, taken piano lessons, and sung in the choir so my life sort of revolved around music – and I liked it that way!! With the high quality marine speakers now available in the marketplace, there is really no reason that everyone can’t enjoy that great sound! I really believe that it makes even your old recorded music even sound better! Now, I know there are some of you that just don’t like music (some of them are relatives of mine). When their fishing, there’s no room for any other sound other than the sound of a fish splashing on the end of the stringer – do you know some of those folks also?? That’s fine – I can appreciate their position on that as well. We’ll just crank up the tunes as soon as the crank bait is cranked up!!
Happy Boater.
Speakers make the difference!
Recently I processed an order from one of my online customers on the website www.marineradiosonline.com. It was from a person who ordered an amplifier and a set of speakers. After installing the speakers and realizing just how much sound quality was coming out of the speakers without the amplifier, he cancelled the amplifier order. More of these stories are certainly available. If you haven’t looked at what is available today in the marketplace when talking marine speakers, you’ve got a treat in store for you. They are affordable, waterproof, and are versatile enough to use on the deck, on your pontoon boat, speed boat, or simply outside in the yard. High quality at a very affordable price. Happy Boater.
Speakers make a good system great!
When you insert your MP3 player or your I-pod into the receptacle on the back of your marine radio, what kind of sound do you have? Is it distorted on the low notes? Is it hard understand the words sung? Maybe it’s just plain irritating with the tinny sound you hear! The problem may not be with your radio – it’s possibly with the speakers! Speakers have come a long way nowadays with their waterproof design for the marine speakers. Add that missing element – clarity to your music enjoyment! Add a pair of very affordable high quality speakers to your sound system and experience the difference! It’s like day and night! Enjoy. Happy Boater.
Immense Technology Strides…
I’m constantly amazed at just how far we’ve come in technology in the time span of just 50 years or so. It wasn’t until the early 60’s that anyone had even heard of a transistor radio! …and then when you had one with SIX transistors, you really thought you were hot stuff! True – they could barely bring in the local stations, but they worked. Yesterday I was looking at a Ford Model A that my friend had restored. He had a piece of equipment that was supposed to be attachable to the dashboard in the car that was called a “brake gauge”. Now, I’m sure many of you have never heard of such a thing either, but its theory of operation was simply from inertia of motion. When you were moving, the gauge registered at “zero”. But, when you braked, if you hit a “4″ on the guage as the counterweight was thrusting forward, it would indicate that you brakes were working properly! How about that for technology?! I love it!! Likewise, the technological improvement made in marine speakers is equally astounding! If the speakers you have on your deck, pontoon boat, speed boat, or other places are “crackling” or “distorting” the low notes, you need an upgrade. These are now very affordable and are waterproof! Enjoy top notch sound quality with very little invested. Why not enjoy what you’re listening to? Happy Boater.
Be considerate when placing your speakers!
There is much to be said for having great quality marine speakers attached to your marine radio receiver and being able to listen to high quality sound through those great marine speakers. You must, however, realize that not everyone enjoys your music as much as you do so when selecting your music and ultimately setting the volume control on your receiver, step back and take note how it might sound to someone nearby – say a neighbor – or maybe someone on the other side of the lake if your speakers are aimed at the shoreline. I experienced such a situation this weekend. I could barely carry on a conversation with my guests at my summer home because someone was not being considerate on the other side of the bay and blaring their music towards the shoreline. You must remember that sound carries over water much easier than it does over land. I probably wouldn’t have minded so much, but what he was playing through his unit barely qualified as music – more like noise. I was not pleased and my guests were wondering why I didn’t do something about it. I was hoping it was a 1-time thing and this wouldn’t be an ongoing problem, but I guess if it does continue, I’m going to have to make a neighborly visit and invite my neighbor over to my cabin so he can listen first hand just how loud his system is in my yard (about 2 blocks away). Try to always be considerate when using outdoor sound equipment – you may not even realize just how much your “fun” may be cutting into the “fun” of others. There’s plenty of ways that everyone can enjoy the day at the same time!! Happy Boater.
